Venice: Chioggia and Pellestrina by bike

Easy bike itinerary, between sea and lagoon

The tour starts and arrives in Chioggia, a beautiful minor Venice. Arriving at the pier, you embark on the bragozzo, a boat with a flat keel, perfect for the shallow waters of the lagoon. You can bring your own bike with you on the Bragozzo or rent it with us. As soon as we get off the traditional boat, we are immediately surrounded by the atmosphere of a world where time has stopped. We ride alongside fishermen's stilts and elderly ladies who masterfully embroider bobbins. Annalisa, our companion, Venetian since generations, tells us stories and anecdotes of this thin strip of land, suspended between the sea and the lagoon. We will stop at the oasis of Cà Roman with its imposing dam, at the Sanctuary and at the photographic museum on the history of the murazzi. The lunch break will take place at a local Ittiturismo: only fresh fish Km0! Before the lunch we say goodbye to Annalisa. In the afternoon, you can relax on the beach with unexpected crystal clear waters or get lost in the side streets of this unique place.
