Savour the Veronese wines, meet the producers and discover the terroirs, by bike
An intense trip that allows to appreciate the wines with all your senses, directly by the producer by smelling and tasting the wine and feeling the terroir directly on your skin cycling among the vineyards. Three easy itineraries, away from the car traffic as much as possible to discover three great wines: Valpolicella (with its older version of Amarone della Valpolicella), Soave and Bardolino and the beautiful landscapes of Valpolicella, the eastern valleys and Lake Garda. The wineries are carefully selected basing on the quality of their wines and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
ABOUT THE BIKE ROUTES You’ll mostly ride on secondary roads with little local car traffic; you’ll ride as well on some bike paths and on some traits of roads open to car traffic. The road surface is mostly paved; there are some gravel sections. The tour has some up and downs. If you want to avoid trains, consider to bike about 60 km per day.

6 PM Welcome meeting at Itinera Bike: we’ll talk about the program of the self guided tour (doubts and suggestions), we’ll make sure you feel ok with the app and the routes, and we’ll meet in person! You’ll rely on us in case of problems during your tour.
If you included the bike/e-bike rental, this is the moment of the bike fitting too.

The itinerary leaves the city behind cycling along a safe bike path that leads us to the countryside, cultivated with large fields of peach and kiwi trees. The bike path gains altitude and reaches the hills from where we can enjoy beautiful views over Valpolicella and the mountains. We reach Lake Garda and the villages of Bardolino and Lazise.
Before heading to Peschiera del Garda, 15 minutes of train from Verona, it’s time for the tasting: discover and enjoy Bardolino wine!

In this tour we explore the classic area of production of Valpolicella wine. We leave the city behind cycling on a beautiful bike path, then we head towards the hills of Valpolicella.
We follow country roads through the vineyards, passing close to ancient rural house and elegant Venetian Villas: some of them are nowadays prestigious wineries and the visit of one of them is a great wine and cultural experience.
Let’s stop and take a sip!
We cycle back to Verona flanking beautiful hills and the classic Valpolicella terraces and finally we get to the city centre following the river Adige.

We cross the city centre and follow country roads that flank small streams of clear water, until we get to the green valleys in the Eastern side of Verona. Here, among rolling hills and small villages, we cycle through vineyards.
After a few easy and panoramic climb we finally get to Soave, an ancient village surrounded by majestic medieval walls and overlooked by a castle.
Let’s discover here the fresh Soave wine, you won’t easily forget it! Eventually, the route reaches San Bonifacio, where we will take the train back to Verona.

- Within about a week, we’ll send you the contract with all the confirmed services.
- 4 weeks before the tour, the system will send you the link for the final payment (the balance). Once this last payment is done, we’ll send you all materials:
- The road book of your tour
- The link to install the navigation app on your mobile phone
- The final tour summary with all the booked services
- The activation of the basic insurance
- The invoice of your full payment (downpayment + balance)
As required by international legislation protecting the traveler, the traveler has the right to reconsider for a period of 5 days.
After 5 days from the down payment, it will not be refunded.
After the payment of the balance, you can cancel your booking with these penalties:
- Cancellation up to 15 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellation later than 14 days before departure: no refund.
